Shutters is a beautiful, new but traditionally built hardwood house with wood and coral stone finish walls and jalousie shutters. The house has air-conditioning throughout plus ceiling fans.

Shutters is set in enclosed gardens with a drive to the front providing parking for 3 cars. At the back of the property the lawn wraps around the south-facing swimming pool (18x15ft), and is bordered by banana and ginger plants with mango and lime trees. There is a paved terrace which is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. There is a loo and outside shower by the pool.

Inside the living area is spacious, open-plan and airy with a tiled floor and patio doors opening onto a covered veranda with views of the terrace and swimming pool beyond. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has granite work surfaces. Patio doors open out from the kitchen onto the veranda which is an ideal spot for al fresco dining. There is a barbeque on the terrace. The laundry contains a washing machine, drying rack, ironing board etc.

                       

Shutters has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus the toilet and shower by the pool. All bathrooms have marble surfaces.

On the first floor the master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. It has a vaulted timber ceiling and patio doors onto a large balcony overlooking the pool, and has panoramic views over Reeds Bay to the Caribbean.

There are a further 2 bedrooms on the first floor, each with vaulted timber ceilings, one containing a queen-sized bed, and the other containing twin beds. The twin room also has patio doors onto the balcony.

There is a further bathroom on this floor.

There is a fourth bedroom which contains a queen-sized bed on the ground floor, situated next door to the third bathroom.
